Ladies and Gentleman…

It has indeed been a while.

In the time that has passed, I have been on stage and performed my multiple roles in the production “Annie”, celebrated my 17th Birthday and won two debates.

Amazing I know, should I have done all this and feign to tell you my audience of few known to me. Still, I should not leave you neglected (even though this blog is titled “Infrequent blogger”).

The performance nights were amazing to say the least….nothing quite like the exhileration of being on stage, the electricity that flows back stage. It is like experiencing all the loss of inhibition associated with those who are intoxicated except without the hangover the next day.

No, the feeling lasts for weeks after…in fact it hasn’t left us yet. I met up with nine of my cast mates on Thursday evening and basked in the lingering bliss. We went to Lygon Street and enjoyed our meals, bruschetta and six bottles of “on the house”wine (granted 7 of use were under age, but that didn’t stop every restaurant we walked pass offer us free bottles providing we each bought a meal). I myself was content with my free bottles of lemonade as the taste of any alcohol disgusts me.
We had the grandest of times as we ate and then walked the street of Lygon. We were singing and dancing, paying a busker to put up with use for 15 minutes while we requested songs we could perform with him. I think he was a tad scared.

My seventeenth birthday was a beautiful night also. I had 3 beautiful young ladies whom I am lucky enough to call my friends grace me with there presence the night following the actual aniversary of my seventeenth year of born life. We ate dinner at La Porchetta at Highpoint and then went back to my house to watch DVD’s together. The night was special, unique in every particular.

One of these young ladies also joined me in debate at the Frayne Speach Festival. She was very articulate and by far one of the best speakers I know. She battled through her croaky throat and led us to the two victories we were awarded. Those two days in woop woop were some of the most fun days I’ve had. This year, expressed thus far in this blog, has been amazing, I think you would agree.

It is as if the world changed itself into a crazy new adventure, that day I decided to blog my thoughts infrequently for the world.

I don’t want to stop this rollercoaster of writing. I will write again.

Such is life;
