Tonight, was going to be an ordinary Wednesday night. Dad and the boys were going to get ready for karate, I was going to pretend I was studying for my two tests tomorrow while watching Star Trek: Deep Space 9 with mother. Then, the catalyst was cast. My dad recieves an sms at 6:10 pm. “Thank you for chosing to book your flight with us. Hope you have a safe and pleasant flight.” was the general message recieved by my father from the travel agency. Thats strange. Dads not leaving until tomorrow.

Better check the ticket.

The flight leaves at 00:15 17 Apr 2008; i.e. midnight tonight. We have to call the relatives to tell them of the actual time, pack, present wrap, money withdraw, eat dinner and adaptor buy within the next hour and a half.

Frenzy Mode.

We managed and did a darn good job with time to spare. We got to the airport at 8:30 pm. Dad checked in. I bought him gum and a travel walet to strap to his chest under his clothes. We sat and spoke infront of the wall between Australia and the International Transit Lounge. At 10:00 pm we said our goodbyes.
